help Safety First Fundraiser

TES is conducting a "Safety First Fundraiser" until March 30th.We are selling a variety of products that include the following items: liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener, laundry paks, scent booster, dish soap, dish paks, and trash bags.

The money raised will be used to purchase new security cameras and monitoring system for our school campus. The new system would provide us with new cameras that will allow a much clearer picture/video of the interior buidling as well as the exterior building views (which includes all door entrances at TES, Wee Care Daycare entrance, all surrounding parking lots, and both playgrounds).

We need your help! Please sell to friends, family, neighbors, and people at work. We need 100% participation in this fundraiser to meet our profit goal of $10,000.

Thank you for your continued support!

school School Store

At the first of the school, we sent out flyers about School Store. Many of you signed you child/children up for it. Now is a great time to be using it! Tompkinsville Elementary can make money that will be used for our students, and it is very EASY to do. If you are shopping online, go first to www.schoolstore.net, find Tompkinsville Elementary, and then click on merchants. It is that easy! The prices will be the same as it is on the store website. There are over 400 stores to choose from, for instance Wal-Mart, Target, Children’s Place, The Gap, etc. So I know that this is an extras step, but it is a quick step. TES has earned $60 already from great parents like you, but we could be making more money. Feel free to tell grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., that they can also go through this site to order online.

Campus Safety Improvements at MCHS and MCMS

Beginning December 8, 2017

  • During school hours access to Monroe County High School and Monroe County Wellness Center will be from Old Mulkey Rd.
  • Access to Monroe County Middle School will be from Gamaliel Rd.
  • Chains will be up from 8:00am to 2:30pm.
  • This will allow us to have better control of the traffic on the MCHS and MCMS campuses which will provide a safer campus for our students and staff.
  • We have experienced drivers using the campuses as an access road from Gamaliel Rd. to Old Mulkey Rd.  During the school day we have students who use the area between the schools for physical education and other activities.  To reduce the risk of someone getting hurt, we are closing access from Gamaliel Rd. to Old Mulkey Rd. during school hours.
  • In the near future, we will be installing a check-in station at the entry of MCHS.  This will allow us to monitor who enters and exits the student parking lot.
