The 4th Lunch with Parents will be held February 1-February 3rd. Letters were mailed home with information. We ask that if you plan to attend, please send back to school by Monday so that numbers for lunch can be tallied.
6th grade lunch will be February 1.
7th grade lunch will be February 2.
8th grade lunch will be February 3.
Parents can pick up progress reports during these days and visit with teachers for Parent/Teacher Conferences.

All students and families are invited to Family Night on January 30th from 3:00 to 6:00. There will be craft, game, prizes, and food. In addition, preview the upcoming Book Fair. This event is sponsored by the 21st Century SOAR program and MCMS library.

Vending Misers are saving MCMS over 50% energy usage.

The spring Book Fair will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 7 in the library. Jan. 30 will be a preview night for families. Prizes and snacks will be provided.

Falcons: Taking Flight and Soaring for a CURE is the theme for the 2011-2012 MCMS Relay for Life Team t-shirt. The shirts are $10.00 and may be worn on Sprit Day.

School Librarian Nancy Holder recently formed a library student council. This group of students will be involved in promoting, setting up, and working at the upcoming spring book fair, suggesting new books to be purchased, and help with keeping the classroom set of Kindle Fires charged and helping with other Kindle applications.

|
Richard Turner, from Modern Woodman of America Camp 18095, presented Librarian Nancy Holder with a matching funds check to be used to purchase books and other materials for the school's library.

The changed Retake Policy will go into effect on January 2nd.
|
|
|

The library is collecting Boxtops for Education, old cell phones, and used ink cartridges. Students may bring these in at any time and give to Miss Holder or any library worker. These items are worth some money that will buy books and materials for the library. We appreciated any and all.
