Relay for Life's Clothes Closet
Relay for Life's Clothes Closet has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 14th. This will be held at the front entrance of the Middle School from 8 am till 5 pm.
Jr. Beta Club Selling Tervis Tumblers
Jr. Beta Club members are selling authentic Tervis Tumblers with MC Falcons logo. The tumbler is 16 oz. and is $18. If you would like to purchase one and a Jr. Beta Club member fails to see you, please contact club sponsors, Mrs. Ashlee McClendon or Ms. L'Tanya Crawford. Thanks for your support.

On Saturday, November 16, MCMS Band students auditioned for placement in the prestigious Third District Band Directors Association 7th & 8th Grade All-District Band. More than 400 students from 21 area middle schools auditioned to receive placement in the 99 seat band. All students memorized scales, practiced sightreading, and prepared music for the audition process.
Congratulations to Harrison Froedge, Ariston Jones, Zach Ford, Austin Rhoton, and Caroline Rushing for receiving placement in the All-District Band.
Boxtops for Education, Old Cell Phones, and Used Ink Cartridges
The library is collecting Boxtops for Education, old cell phones, and used ink cartridges. Students may bring these in at any time and give to Miss Holder or any library worker. These items are worth some money that will buy books and materials for the library. We appreciated any and all.
Students staying after school for any activity must sign-in with Mrs. Rendi in the cafeteria.
Each afternoon, there are snack available for students. The afterschool schedule includes:
2:35-3:00 homework room
3:00-5:00 tutoring and various activities/clubs (***New clubs listed under Read More heading.)
Each Friday morning, students gather in the gym for morning assembly. During this assembly, we recognize students who have displayed effect "Leader in Me" traits, been successful in the classroom and on the sports field, extracurricular wins, and other posititves that have happened throughout the week.
Monroe County Schools Receive Million Dollar Donation
George Eagle Bushong makes donations to the Monroe County Wellness Center and the Monroe County High School Scholarship Fund. Additional donations added recently.
WKU Offers Reduced Tuition for Educators
