DAVID FANNING Debuts His “#musicFIRST” Tour At Monroe County High School, Wednesday March 8 at 1PM

MV2 Entertainment songwriter and artist David Fanning is launching “#musicFIRST,” a 30-town tour of middle and high schools throughout the South, starting Feb. 8 and running through May. David’s concert will feature his newly released single “First”, now playing on SiriusXM radio “the Highway” and featured in his first video release on CMT.

“I’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes when kids connect and get inspired by music,” said Fanning, who grew up in a town of 900. “Most of the schools we visit are in rural areas with little to no access to live music. Bringing music to these small towns, to the kids who need it most, is something I believe in because I was that kid. And I’ve seen the power of music to inspire confidence and empower students to achieve great things.”

In each school, Fanning will meet with music teachers and school administrators to talk about the importance of supporting music education programs. He will also perform for students with a state-of-the-art stage system that amplifies his current and energetic live shows.

Fanning was raised on a farm in Ardmore, Alabama, near the Tennessee line. He moved to Nashville to pursue a career as an artist, but soon became a creative voice with Nashville-based, music production team New Voice (NV). With NV, Fanning produced Thompson Square, Parmalee, and guitar-slinger Lindsay Ell – including three No. 1 hits. Fanning’s own songwriting credits include cuts by Ell, Tyler Farr, Tracy Lawrence, Scotty McCreery, Parmalee, Dylan Scott, Thompson Square, and Bonnie Tyler and a #1 hit for the Wolfe Brothers of Australia. Fanning first garnered national attention as an artist with his country version of a Justin Timberlake song which was endorsed by the superstar himself.

“Being an artist was always the plan, but sometimes you get there in different ways,” Fanning said. “When you are blessed to get an opportunity to work with such talented artists and co-produce No. 1 singles, you become better at your craft. Producing albums helped me become a better artist.”

Merchandise to be sold at concert: Hats - $12; T-Shirts - $10; Pictures: $5; CDs - $5
