WKU Admissions and Scholarships

Attention Seniors:

A message from WKU concerning admissions and scholarships!!

First, I want to remind you that scholarships are not added to your bill automatically, you must accept your scholarships via your TopNet account. You can verify if you have accepted your scholarship by the “Award Status” column of the attached scholarship list – “ACPT” means the you have accepted the scholarship, while “OFRD” means it has been offered, but not accepted. The instructions for accepting scholarships is as follows:

1.Log on to TopNet using your NetID and Password

2.Select the Financial Aid tab

3.Click “Award” and then “Award for Aid Year”

4.Select the 2020-2021 Aid Year

5.Click the “Accept Award Offer” tab

6.Go through and accept any scholarships you’ve been awarded

Secondly, if you have been admitted, but not registered for TOP (Orientation), you need to do so as soon as possible.   If you qualify for free/reduced lunch, you will also qualify for a TOP voucher. This voucher lessens the cost of TOP from $75 to $25, but you must fill out the form found here: in order to receive that voucher, and then you can expect communication from the TOP Office directly pertaining to completing their registration. All other students can register for TOP via their TopNet account or by calling the TOP Office at 270-745-4242.
