Principal's Message

          I am exceedingly privileged to have the opportunity to serve as the principal of Joe Harrison Carter Elementary School. Kids are my passion, and I strongly believe in the magnitude of education.  Teaching and leading students to success have been wonderfully rewarding in my career, as no other job could be more gratifying to me.  I sincerely believe in the power of relationships and the collaboration of students, teachers, parents, the community, and myself. Having solid relationships with each other will significantly increase the success of our students. Together, as a team, we can accomplish anything.   Therefore, I want to challenge everyone to be a part of the educational process at JHC. I hold a true “open door” policy and welcome you to stop by, call, or email at any time you have questions, concerns, or ideas. JHC is already known for its parental involvement, and I would like to take that even further. We are much stronger together than alone. 

         Again, I am incredibly honored to serve as your principal. I assure you that your child’s safety and educational needs are my primary objectives. Working together, we will lead Joe Harrison Carter Elementary School to new heights and make this their greatest school year ever.
