We have just received a packet of information with applications from Dr. Sam Evans, the Dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at WKU.

This new “Topper Educator Graduate Scholarship Program” is designed to help educators with their professional development, targeting those who are seeking  a Masters of Arts in Education, Master of Arts, Master of Science and Master of Music programs leading to a Teacher Leader endorsement; Master of Arts in Literacy Education; Education Specialists in Elementary Education; Education Specialist in Secondary Education; Education Specialist in Educational Administration; and the P-12 Principal Preparation Program.

This Topper Education Scholarship will guarantee them a graduate tuition rate of $395 per credit hour so depending on the program and type of delivery (face-to-face or online classes), students can save up to $8,299 on a graduate professional education program. Any tuition raises in the future will also result in the scholarship being increased – so cost to educators will remain $395 per hour.
