Dr. William Michael Carter represents District 5 of the Monroe County School Board district.  He has been a school board member for the past 5 years.  Dr. Michael is a graduate of Tompkinsville High School as well as the University of Louisville and has a familiy practice in Tompkinsville.  He proudly serves on the executive council for the Boy Scouts of America.  His wife is the former Terry Lynn Hagan and they have four children:  Allison Rains, John Michael, and twins Cassidy and Caroline.
