Welding Technology - Jesse Muse

Last Updated: 5/26/2021 2:08 PM

Hi, I am Jesse Muse and am the Welding Technology Teacher at Monroe County Area Technology Center.  My trainings and certifications include a degree in Industrial Maintenance at Bowling Green Technical College, certified NCCER instructor and I am currently attending Western Kentucky University.

My work experience includes thirteen years at Chuhatsu North America and almost two years teaching at Warren County ATC.

I offer classes that support the Welding Pipefitters TRACK pathway.  They are Oxy-Fuel Systems, Shielded Metal Arc Welding Groove Welds with Backing Lab, and an Open Groove Lab.  Along with these courses, students can work towards earning the KY State DOT Welding Certification.  I am also a Co-Sponsor of Skills USA.

My interests include showing cattle, farming, working as a licensed realtor and auctioneer and spending time with my wife, Kiley.  I am also the Vice President of the KY Ayrshire Association.

I enjoy offering students an opportunity to set themselves up for a career to make a good living after high school.  I graduated from Monroe in 2005 and am so glad to now be back home.  The ATC was, and still is, a large reason that I loved school.  I am honored to teach here.

You are always welcome to contact me by calling (270)487-8261 or by emailing .
