It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mr. Bobby Gentry, Vice-Chairman of the Monroe County Board of Education.

Bobby faithfully served the students, families, and staff of Monroe County School District for the past 12 years as the District 2 Board Member. Throughout his time on the Board, he was dedicated to doing what was best for our students and supporting our schools and community.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, service, and commitment Bobby gave to Monroe County and to our children. His impact and the memories he leaves behind will not be forgotten.
